Saw my first sand frog on my way to Peers Cave as part of a South African Archaeological Society outing 🐸 It's very well camouflaged, so a hint is given in the Alt text. Peers Cave is an unfortunate example of how not to do #Archaeology, but there are still things to see if you know where to look.

Saw my first sand frog on my way to Peers Cave as part of a South African Archaeological Society outing 🐸 It's very well camouflaged, so a hint is given in the Alt text. Peers Cave is an unfortunate example of how not to do #Archaeology, but there are still things to see if you know where to look.
I picked up this penguin made of plastic at UCT at the end of October. Today I went to Two Oceans Aquarium for my free visit. Since the aim was to raise awareness, I took note of the info about how to help our oceans and penguins. Loved the unexpected references to #Archaeology and #Palaeontology!
