So now, I’ve gotten myself into a lil pickle.
Now, these new people expect that I’m always “on” and energized and ready to engage when I’m not.

And I think it’s my own doing, to a degree.
In an attempt to resolve my social anxiety, I’ve done the opposite and thrown myself into people’s lives as this bubbly, always “on” person.
And I am - bubbly. But the social anxiety gave me some solitude which I actually really value now.

I’ve been more aware of how overwhelming it can be for people to have access to you at any time (phone calls/texts, DMs, etc.) and I’m just being very avoidant of it.
Like there’s too many people trying to get a hold of me & I don’t like it.
