Indo-Pacific influence should be measured by your presence in the food court. 🇹🇼and 🇯🇵 are strongest performers - Xing Fu Tang, Din Tai Fung, Yoshinoya, Pepper Lunch. Notable mentions 🇸🇬 (Ya Kun Kaya Toast) & 🇦🇺 (Boost Juice) - while they are not catering to the masses they still have a unique role/menu

I reviewed Andrew Charlton’s ‘Australia’s Pivot to India’. He’s right that focus must be on strengthening the economic pillar of the r/s but should be cautious of instrumentalising the diaspora + also needed more attention on how 🇺🇸and 🇨🇳 shape 🇦🇺 🇮🇳 ties
