Letter #1 was rather 🤨 to me, letter #2 was great. Glad they published both though, as I have been trying to better understand the overall letter #1 viewpoint for some time now

Jerry Blavat used to come every week to the restaurant I worked at in Philly back in the day. A fair amount of sexual harassment went with the territory at that establishment but he was still a notable creep.

This is so glaring when a show puts a supposedly-normal family in a house that might be middle-class attainable if it was in a very LCOL area but because the show is set in LA, is actually in Brentwood. Yet the family supposedly has no chef, personal assistant, Equinox…

I was thinking similarly, was it not maybe an error* (tactically) to keep the hostages this long? They sure don’t seem to have provided any leverage that was actually meaningful.
