I don't think there's such a thing as a "bad foundation", any story can be told well one way or another

it's just that said foundation tends to be clouded in incoherent mush, so when you wanna take a crack at one-upping the supposed professional writers, you don't have a clear trajectory to follow

I don't mind the more "slice of life" approach the season is seemingly taking, it makes sense after season 1's conclusion

But the issue I had with said season was that it didn't feel like it had the balls to commit to many of its choices, and I can't say that issue has subsided yet
