I subscribe to several crochet mags through several libraries using the Libby app. I don’t know if they are American or British, but they’re free! You can also borrow crochet books.

I agree with the library. I have a digital library card and subscribe to crochet mags. You can also check out the internet archive archive.org/search?query...

I do all three, but I crochet more. Crochet is faster and you can make almost anything you can in knitting, but the finish differs. Crochet tends to look thicker. Tunisian has the speed of crochet with the look of knitting, but the pattern is generally one sided. Get some cheap yarn and try them all
