If you dismiss it all with one big brush I don't think you really read it, well obviously you don't. You are throwing away one of the few major megaphones for progressive views because they don't meet your standard, and playing into the hands of those who would drown out dissent.

Oh so we're going to write off the entire NYT, along with folks like Jamelle Bouie, Michelle Cottle and the rest. This kind of purity testing shows the jaded and self defeating attitude which is what the writer is really arguing against.

I guess the result is the same with both ideas, which means suppression of bullying is bad. That feels wrong but if either theory is true that is sad for humanity
