A good start on my carafe for the #dirttpotterchallenge5. I am using paddle and anvil construction and Amaco Art White clay tempered with sand.

My bathroom sink no longer leaks!

The plunger doesn't go up and down right, but it doesn't leak.

Also, I may have caulked everything together so I may not be able to fix the plunger or ever disassemble it ever again....

It turns out flint knapping is pretty uncomplicated.
Hold your work piece firmly, braced on your thigh. Then, bring your hammer stone down in a glancing arc with the thumb of your good hand in between the hammer stone and work piece. Swear profusely.
