They showed us the footprints and explained how they were formed, and how they were "inverted footprints". I had a great time there chatting with them about geology.

Hello ! I'm by no means an expert in any of these fields, but I was fascinated by the discovery of sauropod dinosaur footprints on the ceiling of a karstic cave in southern France. I went caving there during holidays (as a tourist) and was quite stunned by this discovery.
