It's hard to know what's moderate! But, IMO, Sewall Wright inventing SEM seems like it would probably be worth more than 4,000 citations in ~100 years

I love the autoregressive structure nestled into the middle-right that implies a whole temporal dimension to this bad boy -- teasing that this behemoth COULD be turned sideways and extruded across the z-axis, but you're not ready for that yet.
