Twitter refugee. Deeply concerned.
I'm waiting for balls-to-the-walls leaders who will not blink. If Dems hadn't compromised - whatever the reason, SNAP, fed jobs/pay, or selfishness - the health care crash and economy would have been laid at the GOP's feet. If they vote against it in Dec, will the uninformed public understand? 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, that line really jumped out at me too. That's why we need to use our power to put candidates on notice that their careers belong to the people, not their lobbyists.

So people are going to manage their own health finances? That should work well if premiums skyrocket or they have a catastrophic illness costing millions. GOP has had over a decade to produce an alternative and this is what they’ve got? Are they giving up their taxpayer-funded healthcare? Idiotic.

I don’t agree with 3/4 good but to say there was “nothing good that came from it” seems absolutist. We don’t know that yet or if/how much holding out impacted Tuesday’s wins. We shall see…

Did you read the piece? He's not saying it's positive and that people should not be primaried - he is pointing out the facts re: Dec/Jan votes.

Hey @morningjoe-msnbc.bsky.social, pass this on to non-Democrat Angus King (who doesn't bother to listen to feedback on Bluesky). bsky.app/profile/tedd...
Even Ezra Klein calls b.s.

But Dems were winning this one.
Polls showed most voters blamed GOP for the shutdown.
Trump’s approval rating falling.
Dems wrecked GOP in the elections and Trump blamed the shutdown.
Dems were riding higher than they have been in months.

I have zero faith that this will happen and if it does, does anyone really think this DOJ led by Bondi is going to surrender the full files? Explain how this works.

How inspiring. IF ONLY there was something King and the Senate could do to "stand up to Trump." 🤔 Is King writing MAGA ads for him now with this pablum?

How is it that for every villainous, repellent GOP rep, there's always 10 more you've never heard of who are just as bad?

Their paychecks will immediately go to skyrocketing health care premiums if they don't protect the ACA subsidies.

I'm sure that little civics lecture will really comfort the people facing the loss of their health care because they can't afford the surging subsidies @durbin.senate.gov, and you are proud of the non-existent concessions you received for your capitulation.
