Used my 5 calls app today. Called Joe Morelle and Senators Schumer and Gillibrand to ask that they vote against the SAVE Act. This is all smoke and mirrors. We do not have a voter fraud problem. It will make voting that much harder for real citizens. Have you called?

He not only likes them because they reflect him and his misogyny and violence but he will fight for them because he doesn’t see it as spending his “political capital”. In Trumps world he now owns it all, there are no limits. Anyone who doesn’t understand stand back!

"Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a raving conspiracist with a dangerously loose grip on reality. Maybe that makes him an ideal match for Donald Trump, but that is not the question before the Senate."
Good to see in pages of National Review:

First point is about use of adjournment as end run around Senate's role in confirmation process:

"The whole idea is a constitutional abomination, of course. No one thinks this is the purpose of recess appointments."

If senators can do their job evaluating Trump’s nominees in this moment, they would make it a little more likely that the president and his cabinet might do theirs.
