I believe we must work together to defend democracy and the rule of law and lead the world to a freer, safer and greener future.

I cherish enlightened debate and the chance to learn new things.
And all the drug companies will lower the prices for drugs and all my former physician colleagues who trained for a decade and are saddled with medical school debt will agree to cut their salaries and accept much lower rates than they were forced to accept from United, Humana, Aetna, Cigna. Genius!

The most amazing part of this post is that he thinks he is leading “an otherwise normal life.”

I thought there was nothing he could say that would surprise any more. I was wrong.

Wrong. He caved at exactly the wrong time.

Drop the Democratic Party like you dropped Disney+ for Kimmel. You can always come back if you want to vote in the primaries.

The insurance industry wanted the ACA premium support to continue. They get paid per member per month. The subsidies would have meant more people would have been insured.

I don’t know. I think it was a revolt.

For them it’s not about solving the problem, it’s about raising the profile of the issue with voters so they can run on it. I am disgusted with the Democrats. Don’t be surprised when we don’t show up and support you at the polls.

Now THOSE are alternative facts

Cut all funding for metal detectors at the Supreme Court. Why should they be any better protected from those exercising their 2A rights than the rest of us?

Only reason to cut him a break on this is that it was a 6-3 vote. We don’t know what he really thought. But if he been in the minority Clarence Thomas as the most senior Associate Justice would have decided who should write the majority decision and it would have probably have been much worse.

Big Dick was the failed hot dog meal.

There is something like that in NY too. First degree is reserved for murders of police officers and other law enforcement. People who don’t know get outraged when heinous crimes are charged as second degree.

Thinning the herd. Sucks that kids have to pay the price.

Give her a chance. It might be procedural. Generally courts are not supposed to issue an injunction or stay if things can be fixed later with money. It might be what she is thinking.

Was it:
(A) No immediate irreparable harm?

(B) No likelihood of success on the merits?

(C) No sense of decency and humanity for those who might lose jobs?

(D) All of the above?

She is the female Tucker Carlson: Became conservative to get on TV and boost her career, tried to rebrand herself as mainstream when she thought there was more money to be made at ABC, failed at that and is trying desperately to use a podcast and Sirius to salvage her career and get back on Fox.

What about holding the dinner and NOT inviting the President.

Not unlike deriving joy from laying off high performing government workers doing important jobs.

He went for it!

No. He should NOT release it It is a trap. It is still confidential government information even if not classified. And it has the name of at least one undercover CIA agent. They want him to release it so they can make that the issue and use it as a basis to prosecute him.

Don’t do it. It’s a trap .
March 26, 2025 at 3:07 AM
He should NOT release the transcripts. They are trying to bait him into that. When he does they will try to arrest and prosecute him.
