I’m irrationally annoyed at how difficult it is to make the same dish again. Picking all the ingredients over again feels unnecessarily limiting.

My only interest was watching movies on flights. Trying to juggle an iPad, a drink or food and that narrow space between you and the reclined passenger in front of you is … awful.

Transformative for my career too. I worked up the courage to talk to other DBAs (incl those from Twitter) there and eventually made friends out of so many of them.
Sad to see how much it fell apart.
