I’m glad I didn’t “abandon” iPadOS like some. Not only is iPadOS 18 perfect for my needs, the new features in iPadOS 26 is just that much better. Suck it iPad haters!!

I have already starting losing my respect for Amazon (maybe I should have started earlier) but this new announcement of not being able to download my over 200 book library is feeling like the last straw. My new project is downloading them all and putting them in Apple Books, no more Kindle ebooks. 🤷🏻♂️

I'm excited about finally setting up a home server this weekend. Surprisingly it isn't a Mac. The M4 Mac Mini looks great, but for the cost of the base model I was able to get a 4K monitor, new keyboard, a 16 GB 500GB Ryzen 7 PC, and an additional 1 TB SSD for almost the same price.

It's been a while, but I have officially jumped back entirely to iPad-only again for all my computer needs. Inspired by Ben Brooks, https://brooksreview.net, I'm fully embracing this new direction and am super excited about it. Will be writing about it more soon.

It's always a good day when you get a surprise upgrade when buying something from Amazon. Bought a renewed iPad Mini 6 base model in Space Gray but received a Starlight with 256 GB and Cellular! Makes up for getting scammed on that iPad Pro a few weeks ago..

The loss sucks. It's not just that we lost, but how and who we lost too. Ima cared for the direction of this country and even if many need a break, like myself, we need to stand tall and continue to fight. Yesterday I was sad, today I'm angry.

I think I'm going to take a break from social media. My attention, when not focused on my kids, is stuck mostly in TikTok and Threads. Instead of writing, reading, or watching shows I binge garbage and find myself arguing a lot online. I think I need to step away for a bit.

I like Luke Miani and this video is interesting, but I have tried putting newer versions of macOS on older MacBooks and it is never good worked out for me. The first couple uses it is fine, but eventually it just comes useless

The new AirPods 4 with ANC are enticing. They have so many features borrowed by the AirPods Pro 2 and lately I am getting some ear pain again using the Pros. The biggest reasons why it is hard for me to move to them is the volume adjustment on the stem and looking forward to the hearing features.
