I was always disappointed they never put a Snoopy in the cockpit of this display. Even dropped a letter suggesting it back in 94-95 time frame.

Sport touring bikes are one of my main go-to's. My first liter bike was the FJR's predecessor, 1991 FJ1200. I recently let go of a Kawasaki GTR1400 Concours and still have an 03 VFR-800 in my stable.

1982 your humble narrator was a US Navy Fire Control Tech Guns, and was assigned to an aging 2 gun Destroyer Escort/Fast Frigate. This is the equipment ID plate from the main gun fire control computer, the Hannibal Ford MK1A Range Keeper (Mark One Able). Note the date of manufacture.

Sport touring is my favorite option. My GTR1400 was really good for long distances. A good friend of mine who is about one foot shorter than me rode one from Southeast TN to Alaska by herself as a divorce celebration. My VFR-800 is my all time favorite for any length of riding.
