Yamauchi is just so fucking sick with it, I love how well he uses lighting and his specific forms of processing episodes always stands out.
He did multiple episodes of Sengoku Youko last year and those were absolutely stunning, some of his finest work. He still has the sauce.

Arknights S3 finished off as one of, if not my favorite anime of the year is not something I expected but here we are. I do think the blisteringly fast pacing hurts the resolution a bit. Giving individual elements more room to breathe would have helped a lot but it works still. Overall- It's peak.

Still thinking about this scene from last week's Arknights episode. It's so good... the production has been firing on all cylinders this whole season, but none of its moments would be so poignant without such an incredibly tight script.

New Arknights episode was crazy good. They keep outdoing themselves every single week.
These have been consistently some of the most well directed episodes of the series overall, it's so impressive what the team behind this adaptation have managed to accomplish, while elevating such strong material.

I have completely turned around on how I felt about Nadeko, so she's the only like recent addition to that list, but the rest I always felt a form of kinship to.

Yet another banger Arknights episode this week, I love this show so much.
Such an incredible episode structurally and it reveals so much about the narrative timeline and different characters, and not all of those pieces have come together yet but I am just stunned by how captivating all of it is.

Perhaps one of the most gorgeous films I have ever seen. It's such a quaint, understated story about three people who bond over their shared love for music. Ushio's OST paired with Yamada's more introspective boards make for a mesmerizing watch.
