There is zero point to a third impeachment unless two-thirds of the Senate is on board. Two thirds of the Senate is not on board with oxygen as a human right.

I wonder if that's more or less radical than TOS in 1966 having a a black, female officer and a Russian officer and a Japanese officer on the bridge. Damn. Plus MINI SKIRTS. Forgot to mention the mini skirts. The future looks awesome. You know, assuming everybody doesn't die meanwhile.

As for the actual policy, all during COVID I couldn't stop thinking about how if you could net out all the transactions, everybody could be OK. Utopian thinking, I guess.

I also want the Star Trek future. However, one Star Trek timeline had World War III beginning in 2026. First Contact Day didn't occur until 2063. We're way behind on developing a warp engine by 2063, but I think WW3 in 2026 is achievable, if the donor class keeps on doing what they're doing.
