I agree about knobs and faders. Happy accidents happen more often and it’s just more satisfying. Also better in live performance.
I used an Expert Sleepers ES-8 to integrate VCV with my Eurorack quite successfully some years ago. Then I bought the hardware versions of the VCV modules :-\

Hmm. Some say Ableton can actually do it all and there's no need for hardware at all. I think I disagree.
I've not really been able to duplicate my modular patches in Ableton. Ableton is really great at what it does though. A combination might be the best of both worlds...

It’s the Pro version. I justified it because compared to the cost of real Eurorack modular, it’s peanuts.
