He didn't make a ton of movies in the 1940s due to his involvement in the war. But I'd definitely recommend "Sinbad, the Sailor", "The Corsican Brothers" and "Angels Over Broadway"!

I would recommend his autobiography called Salad Days. It's a great read!

He was 13 when they made it! He left movies after this movie wasn't a success and didn't return until 1925.
