Really?! Salaries are on a par with the salaries for Israeli workers in the same jobs, something like 4 times the salary they would receive from a Palestinian employer.

I have heard Gazans profess that their lives were beautiful before the war. I’ve seen videos of beautiful homes, resorts etc. So which is it? Concentration camp or this beautiful life?

I do have a question about this area. Why can’t Jews live there and are considered settlers. Isn’t that apartheid?

They could have before they started bombing israel. Now it would mainly be used for weapon transport. Let’s focus on Gaza now. They are two separate entities.

Tens of thousands of work permits were given to Gazans to come to israel and make a sustainable living, since no economy was ever created by Hamas. Now everyone suffers because of Hamas’ break of the ceasefire on Oct. 7 and the subsequent war.

Instead of infrastructure and commerce. Hamas and most of their leaders have no interest in the people of Gaza. Just using them as pawns in their end game. Then a blockade was created to stop the flow of weapons.
