Yeah I agree with that sentiment, but it's also true that a 2/5 to a popular game drives more clicks than an honest review... Between this and an influencer I'd take the latter if this is what game critics is today

I think it's fair to take it into account or disclose it in the review, but this feels like the review score is a petty personal take and not a real review

many games also supported external audio chips, many machines had 2 cart slots, one for games and one often used to extend the audio capabilities of the machine or add ram, Konami had their own custom audio chips on carts so their games sound a lot like their NES games www.msx.org/wiki/MSX-MUSIC

Yes MSX2s can run both, even if the specs are quite different, some games have specific enhancements for MSX2 but were made to run on 1 machines as they were still very popular

I think only Usas is Msx2 exclusive, I remember running both the others on my msx1, it's interesting to see the little enhancements some games have when running on 2 machines though, on emulators you can probably select the target machine

I actually think Block Game could be absolutely huge and there's tons of people that grew up with Minecraft, are too old for roblox and fortnite and would love a more curated/different block game

La Mulana specifically is inspired by King's Valley II, Usas and The Maze of Galious, they're fantastic games if you haven't checked them out already!
