It's really easy to make basic things in @tinkercad and print with @BambulabGlobal

Today I've made this vertical storage item, for storing some items vertically in a drawer, so they are easily accessible and take up less space than storing flat.

Last Saturday my brother and I drove from Milton Keynes to Bristol to pick up a racing car simulator. These photos are from the initial test, he'll hook it up to a VR headset.

It definitely makes the games much more fun/engaging.

We also visited 'Wake the Tiger' a bit 'meh'.

I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but sometimes late at night I get a rush of ideas that I have to write down.

I've just spent 23:30 - 00:45 on a Sunday/Monday adding lots of ideas for work into a mind map.

I don't understand where all the batteries go in my house. I have to keep buying more...

When I purchased my Leatherman Super Tool some 32 years ago, when I was 15 (didn't need to be over 18 to buy knives then!), I never would have imagined that I would later use it to fix the battery pack of my son's VR headset! 😁

Barclays Bank are placing limits on cryptocurrency transactions now.

How long until transacting in cryptocurrencies becomes mainstream?

These AAA batteries came with a user manual.

The text is far too small for any human to read!

Halal isn't mentioned anywhere on the packet, but the FAQ on the Grenade website clearly states that halal ingredients are used.

This is deceitful.

I'm never going to buy any Grenade products again.

I've just finished binge-watching Alien Earth.

It's full of plot holes, but at least they pushed the narrative a bit.

I'd rate it 5/10.

It's time to install Visual Studio 2026 🤗

I've been shopping at Rohan for 40 years - it's sad to see them decline. A few years ago, they downsized their Milton Keynes store and I've seen issues with their website over the past couple of years.

Their technical clothing is very good and their staff are very helpful.

I like the idea of getting solar panels and a battery for my house, but financially; putting the money into the S&P500 is the clear winner.

The green option would break even on cost in about 8 years and things can go wrong.

With stocks, you can withdraw your money at any time.

I remember when the car parking in Milton Keynes was free...

I used to pop into the shops occasionally on my way home from work and at weekends. I go maybe 3 times a year now..

Not good Vodafone...

Finally - after 1.5 years of in-depth conversations with my management and suppliers, the consultancy I work for has transitioned from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. Increasing in IT maturity.

It's going to make my job much easier and make everyone happier.

I could write in here about how incompetent the IT administrator is at work, but you wouldn't believe me...

We use a '@Microsoft Partner' company and have an issue open since 11th Oct.

I saw the ticket was Sev C, so asked the engineer (over 10 years experience) to get it raised to Sev B. This is his update in the ticket.

How unprofessional! Plus he didn't specify a business case! 😭

My Vodafone home broadband connection in Milton Keynes is back up - was down from 15:00 - 17:05.

My mobile is on Sky, which uses the O2 network. That was intermittent (probably because everyone started using it as a hotspot), but okay; I was able to work from it.

Carry on Camping (great film), 1969 is rated PG. The first few minutes show nudity (people on a nudist camp site, playing sports) - wouldn't be a PG these days lol.

TV and film used to be much better than today.

At 09:00 I'm giving a presentation to the whole company on why, when and how we are performing an internal IT transformation.

Including moving away from Google Workspace, to Microsoft 365 (Email, Calendar, data, Entra, VDI's, etc). A large project that I've driven 😁

On 27th Sep 2025 the UK government announced it will underwrite £1.5 billion loan guarantee to JLR, owned by Tata Motors (Indian company that made approx $3.8 billion USD in 2024). After JLR suffered a cyber attack.

Sooo UK taxes are going to be loaned to Profitable Tata...

My sister-in-law sent me a photograph of my brother, stood in front of a Tesla in Belgium.

I had to 'fix' the photo 📸🤣

My son and I watched the film 'Back to the Future' a few days ago, so my wife gave us matching t-shirts 😁

My brother has gifted me a customisable Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine model 👍

I've just booked the family Christmas panto. Snow White.

I do like a good panto.

"Oh no he doesn't..." 🤣
