Let us not forget that what's happening in America is allowed to happen regardless of law. We are allowing this to happen as we, the people, have the power and control to stop everything. It's constitutionally guaranteed and protected but we don't take ownership.

For my Midwestern US citizens. Homelessness is NOT a crime, the crime is not having affordable or accessible housing. Also GTFO with the 'houseless' identifier. That's just a way to feel less shitty about your uncaring actions. It's not a citizen problem, it's a SYSTEM problem

Vent here; I recently had a horrid fallout with my ex fiance to which legal action had to take course. I was with her for 4 1/2 years (though her resolution is differential) I am having an extremely hard time moving beyond my emotional investment but my logical mind sees the issues/faults

Actual physics question to the scientific minds of BS. If gravity is pulling mass together, would that not mean that the universe expanding would be fueling itself by expanding mass faster than it is drawn together creating a sort of chain effect of gravitational affect? If that makes sense

Status update; my portals for public services and assistance list no active services. I do not have any insurance listed, even though with SSDI I am immediately enrolled and qualified for insurance and FS. I have none. I just received two letters from MoHealthNet that I do NOT qualify for coverage

This is absolutely bonkers! I've grown up in the Midwest and it wasn't always like this. I remember being young and being able to go outside midsummer in shorts a t shirt and tennis shoes and be perfectly fine. Now it's a 20° heat index!?
