i was throwing together a bunch of cards to make a commander deck from bulk, i went and counted all the cards to see how many i needed to cut to get it to 100... and i was already at 100 exactly.
a similar thing happened last time i made a commander deck

ok yeah, Planetarium of Wan Shi Tong seems deeply mid, at least in standard.
just played against it with a control deck that couldn't get rid of it, and it didn't even generate enough value that i couldn't just answer all the individual threats with removal (granted, this deck runs P[...]

MTG Arena needs a system where you can like, pay 50 gold to convert between different types of wildcards, or maybe just a crafting system where you lose some amount of wildcards in the process.

MTG Arena needs a system where you can like, pay 50 gold to convert between different types of wildcards, or maybe just a crafting system where you lose some amount of wildcards in the process.

the "Match Timer" system on mtg arena is kinda BS cuz it still counts down durning inactionable animations like casting a spell, so if you're low on time, it's nearly impossible to just play through your whole turn in a second or two (unlike say, chess, where moving in less than a sec[...]

graveyard based decks are really funny because they lead to moments where you do stuff like cast removal on your own creature just to stop it from going to exile #mtg

fucked up that we have two different types of blink/flicker (return immediately, return at end step), and two different names for the effect, but there's seemingly no association between name and variant of effect #mtg
