I heard Pattinson say he genuinely thought condiment king would be cool to do but I don’t think it fits with Matt reeves “epic crime saga”. I think it’s probably either hush or the court. Hush sucks but reeves doing the court also sucks because it’ll just be watered down with no fantastical

I desperately want Pattinson in the DCU. I don’t think indulging reeves to the point where he has his own ongoing cinematic universe and also gets to work on DCU projects is a good idea.

I would hope we get Alicia in a future movie. Also Lyonne doubled down on being into moviemaking with machine learning crap so I’m not exactly her biggest fan

I had a few criticisms but overall I really enjoyed. Much more than Superman because of the krypton nonsense. Biggest gripe with FF is changing the surfer. Just because he’s one of the few characters Kirby created independently that’s stood the test of time. He’s also just cool.

Haven’t seen FF yet. But Superman really annoyed me with the krypton stuff. And everything Gunn has said about it since just reinforces how stupid of a decision it was

Yep. It ruined the movie for me. And kinda made me lose faith in Gunn and his DCU. I know that’s kind of extreme, but it’s such an important part of Superman and what he represents, especially to me, and I really despised it.

Okay. But to be clear I agree with you. Superman has always been an immigrant story. It’s important part of his character and what he represents as a child of two worlds. And I think Gunn screws that up with how it’s handled in the movie. I think you’ll know what I mean once you see it.

Because there’s a big change to Superman’s origin that ruins that. It fundamentally messes with the fact that Superman is an immigrant from a dead culture. It’s an important part of his character. And Gunn changed it in the movie.

I wanted to love it. But there was a certain change that made me really frustrated with the movie.
