I just got through having this HJ Holden restored. My dad bought it new in April 1975. We holidayed in Adelaide that January and went on a tour through that factory. I think that's where they decided on this colour (Persian Sand).

Getting through residue with tynes by seeding between the rows is relatively easy, but when it's all fallen over like this, your going to need culters!

Getting through residue with tynes by seeding between the rows is relatively easy, but when it's all fallen over like this, your going to need culters!

Our new seeding rig hit the paddock for the first time yesterday. Boss Ag planter, Simplicity air cart and Boss Ag liquid cart. Pre drilling some urea we had left over to try it out before actual seeding. I may well be too old to drive it! 🙁

Our new Renovator II by Grizzly is working a treat on tramlines. At 20kph it's leaving a nice flat wheel track with no lumps of straw. 👍

More lightning in the Grampians near Halls Gap, & another fire going. Smoke from the Grampians under a blanket of smoke coming from the Little Desert fires, also started by lightning this afternoon.
