This is some aster that's lost its vibrancy, but still hanging on. The bees love it. I counted 18 sleeping on one bunch the other evening.

Summer sannies🥪

Pleasure Ground: A Feminist Take on the Natural World by Sarah Malloney at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Beautiful collection of embroidery, one-of a-kind handknit creations, beadwork, sculptures, fabrics, and frames (including gold inset molds of native plants).

Weekend kitchen meditations

I'm not much of a baker, but I've really been enjoying this no-knead bread made with Creative Baker whole wheat flour (product of Canada bought from Costco).
