i 🧡 women and self-expression
i saw a tiktok where a woman expressed feeling insecure about her style because she's 24 and might be seen as "too old" to dress that way, and there was one reply that stuck in my head: if not now, when? this is why i adore women who are 40+ and still dress however the fuck they want. society is so demanding of women as we age, shaming us into shrinking our individuality. elder women who don't adhere to what is expected of them are my vision of God
