This annoys me for some reason: there's no such thing as a "Tim Burton Willy Wonka movie". Burton's version is named Charlie just like the book and makes a point of being about the BOOK rather than a spiritual successor to Mel Stuart's WW.

Peel it, throw the middle away if the seeds are hard, grate it, and use it exactly like you'd use grated potatoes to make hash browns, maybe with tarragon! Half potatoes/half zucchini is also good. My dad makes them often and everyone loves them. I can't figure out a good egg-free version tho :'(

Also we call actual tacos "fajitas", "taco" is just not used. I think all in all tacoS is a good name: distinct but doesn't hide how heavily it's inspired from the real thing (even tho "fucking up how plurals work in a language that has the same rules" is an embarrassing way for it to have emerged)

I think the fact we're a tropical species should come up more often (there haven't been enough generations since some of us migrated away from north Africa for our biology to change much). We're built to sleep 18 hours a day in trees right next to the Sahara desert
