Somehow this is funnier.

I guess the tape I used wasn’t so great because when I walked in this morning, the two top corners had come loose and it was hanging upside down.

Oh yeah, I remember this from a few years ago and all I could think was that, being an ace-spec musher, between people thinking *I* don’t exist and P$TA thinking my dogs don’t exist, there’s a really funny joke about existentialism in there somewhere.

Jane is awesome and she has some really nice dogs! I’m a bit partial to her little grey dog named Punk. I’m not sure if Punk will be on the team this year, as she might be getting a bit older now, but her others are rockstars too.

Oh the boards are always a cluster, lol. And there’s so much more drama and politics behind the scenes than most folks realize.

But yeah, there are still a lot of mushers putting in the time and effort to run mid distance races. Some have Iditarod aspirations, but I know quite a few who don’t!

It’s interesting isn’t it? Despite rising costs and climate challenges, mid-distance sled dog racing is thriving if not flourishing.

Aside from a couple of references I have no context for, I completely missed whatever drama happened. And I’m fine with that.

It’s getting a lot darker in the mornings now, which doesn’t help.

I’m good once I’m actually up, it’s the waking up and GETTING up that sucks.

Ryan 2 has me cackling. I know it means his second team, but it sounds like a movie title from 1999.
