My first attempt ever at gouache (not counting the doodles I made when I first got the brushes)! But I think I'll color the characters digitally. Aiming for an old anime look with painted background and cell shaded characters.

I haven't used traditional media in a LONG time, so making this was a challenge, but so much fun! Can't wait to do more. I will, however, color this digitally since I cannot afford markers right now :p I wonder how watercolors would look on this though #traditionalart #illustration #drawing #kidslit
