That’s fair. The script felt too crowded to me. Blood diamonds, North Korea, climate change… It needed a more clear focus.

Die Another Day tried to do too much. Halle Berry was really good in it though. There was talk about her getting a spinoff. I wish we’d get one.

I feel protective of the Brosnan era films. Those are the ones I got into the franchise with. Brosnan was solid in the role even if his scripts weren’t the greatest. I actually did a whole political science research project on the franchise in the college days.
