Tony is running London Marathon for @macularsociety.org in memory of his Grandad Joe who suffered from age related macular degeneration. While he got to spend time with his great grandson he never really saw his face.

Kai is a community Optometrist in Dorset & sees patients suffering from macular problems almost daily. “There is only so much help that I can give so I recommend the @macularsociety.org. This is why I am running 2025 @londonmarathon.bsky.social”

It’s taken 11 years, but Helen will finally be on the start line of @londonmarathon this Sunday. We are delighted that she chose to join #TeamMacular and fundraise for @macularsociety.org with her ballot place.

Every day 300 people are diagnosed with #MacularDisease, the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK. It can affect people of any age, even children. It’s cruel and isolating.

Join @macularsociety.org #TeamMacular in 2025 and together we can fund research that will find a cure

With 300 people a day diagnosed with macular disease, Big Yellow Ted knew how important it was to fundraise all year round so @macularsociety.org can offer the best support & expert advice to people affected by sight loss

In 2025 he would set up a birthday fundraiser & ask for donations instead!

Seasons eatings! Big Yellow Ted loved meeting up with family & friends to share in the joy of cooking & eating together. So he thought he’d host a Dining a Difference in 2025! He would ask everyone to bring a plate of their favourite food & make a donation to @macularsociety.org
