There is an interesting take here, people complain how bad customer service is post Covid and it is precisely because so many people that were in hospitality that were wiped out by Covid. Many never came back. It still hasn’t full recovered from it. I can see a similar parallel with gaming.

I think, and this is just my opinion since the expansion and story were still great, my issue with Shadowbringers is it doesn’t feel like a closed end like the others. Like the feeling is very much setting up the next phase. Emet Selch is interesting.

I genuinely loved Heavensward. I don’t get the hate for Stormblood. And Shadowbringers was great but not as great as expected.

Until there is a big Japanese presence on Bluesky, Twitter will be the focal point. I wish there was a better alternative. Bluesky is fine, but it’s missing so much still.
