A day later and I'm still in shock. I had my 8 year old grandson with me, and he saw one for the ages.

I saw it much the same. I was baffled by Pereyra's game. Low energy, some loose touches... just seemed off for some reason. Hopefully just a one-time oddity for a great player. Amazing that we got the W without his A game.

In very general terms, the piece is largely right. But such broad generalizations are misleading at best. Many boomers and younger generations have the same values, viewpoints, and goals. Let's work together.

Can't argue with a desire for better interior mids. But really, if we get any player who becomes a regular starter, at any position, I'll be happy. Keep upgrading.

I'm curious if the concept of calling senators actually does anything? Maybe for a very few who are wavering? My senators are solid Dems, so I don't see the point of calling. And frankly, most GOP senators are dug in too. Maybe if you live in a state with someone who couple possibly be swayed...

Another broadcast oddity: the color commentator has a bizarre enunciation habit. He adds "-uh" to the last word of every sentence. As in, "the player ran down the field-uh."

Seems correct. My question, and I don't mean this in a snotty way, is does it matter? As he describes it, those small town folks will always vote for the most "outsider" candidate. But are there enough other non-rural people who voted for Trump for different reasons who could be turned?

Any idea why Pereyra is so often subbed out? I thought he was fantastic tonight so I'd be surprised if it was performance. Maybe because he already had a yellow?
