Michigan’s wolves made one of the greatest comebacks in the Great Lakes—rising from zero to more than 700 wolves across the Upper Peninsula.

But recovery doesn’t mean security. State law still allows hunting the moment federal protections are lifted. (1/2)

Arizona is home to one of the rarest wolves in the world—the Mexican Gray Wolf.

Once wiped out entirely, these wolves have slowly rebounded. But recovery remains fragile: illegal killings, inbreeding, and strict geographic limits still threaten their survival.

The government may be closed—but some in Congress still found time to attack wolves.

Led by Rep. Jack Bergman, House Republicans are pressuring the new FWS Director to delist Gray Wolves nationwide. It’s politics over science—again.

Once a conservation triumph, their recovery has been nearly undone by illegal killings, vehicle strikes, and policy rollbacks. Today, only a few dozen remain.

Wyoming’s wolves aren’t protected—they’re persecuted.

Ravens & wolves have historically been associated with ominous imagery. Really, these animals exhibit many traits that we humans value: family, loyalty, intelligence, & even friendship. Wolves and ravens are so akin to each other that ravens have been referred to as “wolf birds.”
