I think I understood the post unless I’m mistaken. My point was that a large portion of people won’t understand why you should question the laws that exist. They will simply “take them as gospel” because they’ve never been in a situation where it seems unjust.

While I understand the sentiment, sometimes people aren’t aware of the circumstances that drive someone to commit acts society has said are wrong their entire lives. It’s difficult to comprehend what someone has gone through without having a similar firsthand experience.

If you want a very simple character, I would recommend a fighter or barbarian. Both classes have easy to understand abilities, and you don’t have to deal with spell casting unless you choose to. Fighters are good at hitting stuff a bunch, while barbarians are good at being hit by stuff a bunch.

Move limitations are fine, but I prefer systems with a limiting factor other than simply “you may only have X moves at a time.” I really liked how Monster Sanctuary had a skill tree of moves, passives, and ability increases to customize.

I have listened to Memories of Memories so many times and it always makes me happy
