What a mess. Words can't describe how infuriating this is, at least not on here. A legacy is important as Nelvana's deserves all the recognition in the world.
Not officially confirmed but Nelvana, one of Canada's most storied animation studios, appears to have quietly closed down on Friday, yet another casualty of Corus Entertainment's struggle to survive.

It's the birthday of one of the all-time great comic book artists, Gene Colan. From Howard the Duck to Dr. Strange, Tomb of Dracula to Daredevil (and so many more), his art was moody and cinematic and his characters were always expressive and deeply human. A master.
