Yes, should. Tgat they didn't does not legally become our burden.
The tens of millions who didn't bother to vote can get off their duffs to resist and vote.

...because the burden of proof is on the accuser. They should have compiled evidence, presented it, and gotten a warrant.

Hateful, hate-filled, and fact-free is no way to walk through life.

Murphy is my Sebator and is great, but not correct: the infamous tattoo represents an abject moral failure. Not the only problem either: used an anti- gay slur, said all rural white farmers are stupid and racist, posts racist, misogynistic, pro-communusm, and Bernie Sanders supports him - nope.

He harmed himself when he called gay people by a slur, when he got that tattoo, etc., etc. If you exhibit the behavior of a Nazi, that's what you are.

We teach civics and social studies: my state requires both to graduate from high school. But then, we send them back to parents/communities saying everything they learned was a lie. One class period a day vs the rest of the time with parents they trust, communities they call home.

The state should have sent alerts to phones, etc. They wanted until four hours after the NWS warnings
July 6, 2025 at 2:22 AM
NWS did issue warnings. Srate officials didn't then follow through and activate alert systems for over **four hours** after that.

...and from those who always expect someone else to come save them rather than taking responsibility. Their "expectations" always apply to others ( who, of course must be perfect in every way or are demons - not just humans doing their best despite the lack of support).

I spent years teaching those akills, but that instruction needs to be universal to take hold.

Try a quick Google search: bernie sanders had support from the NRA in his first election in vermont. Long queue if I teresting articles. Most people seem not to realize he has a long, complicated relationship with the NRA - with ugly results.
July 3, 2025 at 1:34 AM
He did do that while a representative. He's not a Democrat. He's not really progressive in the older sense - more like the new " progressive" spawned by folks like Sanders.

Quoting CNN? SMH.
June 30, 2025 at 2:03 AM
And why aren't WaPo and NYT not screaming that all this is just to get to a point where Trump is trying to reestablish the working treaty Obama negotiated in the first place?

Incredibly disappointing and carefully inaccurate/ selectively presented post. Leaving. Sad.

The votes are on recird.
June 24, 2025 at 3:09 AM
Voted with the GOP to refuse to criminalize ghost guns. Voted against banning revenge porn. Voted against giving transit workers equal protection against assault. Etc. Specific enough for you?
June 24, 2025 at 1:08 AM
I wouldn't want to vote for Cuomo, but I also can't vote for this person who voted ( with the GOP) against criminalizing ghost guns and voted against banning revenge porn. These two are the best NY can do? Sad.

I think she should check her facts. Her claim that Pelosi could have managed this ignores that Pelimosi had a Democratic Senate majority so more leverage that no Democrat has now. And she clearly doesn't understand House procedures or minimizing damage ( even if invisible on the surface)
June 22, 2025 at 3:48 PM
Sorry. Bluesky isn't sending me to the post...I don't know which conversation this references
June 22, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Because Pelosi had the backing of a Democratic Senate najority?
June 22, 2025 at 6:41 AM
...and she should know!
