They will be surprised when their private/homeschools take tax dollars and then wake up to government regulation. There are homeschool advocates who are terribly worried about the regulation that will follow!

I'm seeing too of my students many zoning out. I'll keep doing some audio, but I'm moving more to them reading and annotating. Our first foray led to wailing and gnashing of teeth. It will improve.

They all paid for blue check marks and engaged in rage farming. There can't be true discourse when people only want to scream and get others to scream.

In my HS, we do at least one novel, one play, and lots of IR, short stories, poetry, articles.
How many are having kids read whole class novels on their own vs read aloud/audio?
