No publicly funded university, a junior college that was denied the ability to give bachelor degrees. An experimental supplemental income that helped and then was stopped. Like Detroit, some problems are bigger than the city can handle.

True, but on a larger level the state keeps denying helpful things and okaying harmful things. We need jobs so they okay warehouses but the state doesn’t force them to do the right thing. Tesla and Amazon are the worst. We are in desperate need of a hand up from higher up.

Hey Gov, we are hurting out here. It’s like we don’t matter to big government because we aren’t LA or the Bay. Come drive these roads by the Amazon warehouses in Stockton. Or try to find an area without unhoused people. Your replacement is going to win based on the middle. They better wise up.

Exactly. Remember when they did the supplemental income & people’s lives improved & by extension their whole community?
They denied us a CSU and gave it to So Cal. Denied bachelor degrees at delta. Keep us uneducated & they have a ready workforce. It’s so gross.

Me too! Stockton used to be a thriving community. A Navy base, a university, and a boat load of churches. They closed the base, denied us a publicly funded college, and allowed bezos and musk to build huge facilities without sufficient infrastructure. It’s so backwards.

Stockton is beat down, passed over, and sacrificed for the bay.
Our roads are destroyed by Amazon trucks, and a livable wage job is almost impossible to find.
Gubernatorial candidates better focus on this area.
