It’s infuriating. On another note, the new trend is “Science of Reading.” Waiting to see how long this will last. IMHO NCLB was the tipping point of awfulness. That monster did some serious damage.

STOP PUTTING PEOPLE WHO know NOTHING about education in positions of power to order around the people who DO know about what’s best in education. (Example- De Vos, and the WWE. Person in there now. )

Just fyi—- WE as teachers are being TOLD what to teach by stupid politicians. I work my heart out to get my kids to read!!!
