#Chelsea are becoming a very likable team. The mix of grit, character, resilience & physicality, combined with joyous flair, skill & pace, has turned them into a very impressive outfit. Early days but the manager deserves a huge amount of credit for the work he’s done in such a short space of time.

Hugely professional and dominant first half. A team that’s maturing and becoming more confident week by week. Palmer less influential than usual but other players have stepped up.

Just caught up with the game. Showed flashes of quality without really shifting out of second gear. Still looked a bit vulnerable defensively, but Jörgensen was exceptional at times.

A thoroughly controlled and professional performance by an impressive #Chelsea second team. Admittedly it’s only Europe’s third tear competition & Panathinaikos were poor, but hugely encouraging to see positive contributions throughout, not least by Mudryk, Veiga and Felix.

On the SB atmosphere, supportive of a singing stand/moving away fans, but PSR dynamics prioritise the maximization of match day revenues. Given SB’s size, owners will want to push up the average revenue per seat. Sadly that means more corporates, more tourists and even less singing. #Chelsea

On one view Osimhen’s wage demands were unrealistically high, but if you were him, would you gamble €2 million of your salary on #Chelsea qualifying for the UCL? That would require huge belief in the “project”, our new manager and new signings.

Such a moving Netflix documentary. Crushingly sad, tender, tear jerking, inspirational and hopeful, all at the same time. Definitely worth a watch.
