Also worth noting that he was so exhausted by making the first two films he opted not to direct any of the others! And that was 5hrs 20 minutes worth!

I’ve once spent twenty minutes attempting to take out a contact lens only to realise I’d not only been walking around all day with two in the same eye but had also essentially just been unnecessarily clawing at my other eyeball for 20 minutes.

There’s just a market for “what’s the children’s movie this month? We’re taking the kids to that then”. And Disney got the distribution prowess to guarantee no one’s going to be mad enough to put another children’s film out at the time
