Not at all! Digestive and yogurt is great, chocolate ones even better, especially with raspberry yogurt... I also break up flapjack and lob it in yogurt, that's great too!

I was at Bescott, bloody wet day! It was great, almost the last hurrah for that era, but not quite as good as the hometown gig Aston villa leisure centre, in 89, with the poppies etc. 87 through to 91 with the Stuffies, neds, poppies etc was great fun!

I'm one Stuffies album ahead of you! Although I think the 8 legged groove machine was really the one a year or so earlier. And obviously the Stone Roses, the greatest album of the era, top 5 of all time for me. If it was released today it would have exactly the same impact... Just brilliant!

Bid writing is the devil's work... And now the domain of co-pilot, Claude, chatgpt etc! It's not fun! I like the idea of fate although it leads to madness hence I'm running across the Sahara in April! That was my inner lunacy, but it's not dull... 😂

Given Tim Martin's track record on being right in things... He's disgusting. I've not been in one of his pubs, I say pubs I mean alcohol dependency centres, in over a decade. Long may that continue.

You are not alone, I do things like corporate fund raising which is all sales & engagement... The imposter syndrome is big! But then when you speak to everyone else it's remarkably common. I've concluded that it's all just talking to people, the rest is smoke, mirrors, gloss & bollocks!

This is it, for all the wrong & disgraceful reasons, Mandelson was seemingly appointed because he knew and they, the Trump regime, knew he knew, it's an alliance from hell. Starmer & others hedged on things not coming out & they were wrong. His only way out now is to admit it.

Sounds great, and worthwhile! Getting the first day over with is always the most interesting bit, I think if email and log-ins are working then you are winning!! Glad it went well! Onwards from now!

What freedoms are we rewinding? It's been a shambles of a decade, hitching ourselves to some mirage of a golden past, that never existed in the first place, whilst selling entire generations down the river & into the arms of Farage, the architect scumbag. The sooner we scrap #brexit the better

I really like the smell of coffee, but just don't like it! It means people think I'm odd (might be right! 😂) as I don't like things such as tiramisu...
February 1, 2026 at 7:56 PM
I don't drink coffee so for me it's easy as I just have tea. But, because I don't drink coffee I have no idea how different types work?!?? It makes it a bit of a minefield I have to order stuff for other people... What happened to plain black or white coffee! Or mellow birds from being a kid!

Good luck! I'm sure you'll be great, adrenaline is a big thing... Plus you won't be alone, so many people are ill! It feels like months since we actually saw the sun and it stopped raining!

He has the political antenna of a corpse! And that's being a bit harsh on the dead. @teamlabouruk.bsky.social sort your strategy and Comms out, they are beyond shit & you are sending us into the realms of reform, a legacy you will never be forgiven for...
January 31, 2026 at 11:05 PM
Seriously!! Is this tomorrow's paper?? They are deranged, it's been a decade long shit show that finally people are waking up to, so they print this! You can smell the desperation... Absolute loons @dailyexpressnews.bsky.social

Blur evolved, I can think of at least one big band of that time that didn't. To me the forgotten gem of Brit Pop were sleeper... Great story tellers!

Before I become the subject for archaeologists!! 🦴💀 🩻
January 30, 2026 at 8:39 PM
Probably indicative of increasing age!! 😂 The archaeologist was by far the best! I'll go back one day...
January 30, 2026 at 8:25 PM
I like this... 5 I've had!

- Soup maker at covent garden soup (a student low point)
- Local tip tidier (the student low point)
- Archaeologist
- Director at NHS England
- NHS Provider CEO

Some reform voters are thick, many are not. At the base there are people who feel they have no power or future & will fall for rhetoric. But there are plenty who will look to manipulate the chaos that would erupt. That's who Farage is playing too. The ex tory MPs are being used, watch the money...

I won't go near the place until he's gone. I've told work that I won't go, I'm not the only one to do that... Probably the biggest indicator is my daughter, she was / is at a US university on a sports scholarship which is now deferred, mid course, as she thinks being there shows support for Trump...
January 29, 2026 at 5:01 PM
Infantino & #fifa more broadly can obviously only deal with football. They could & should remove the world cup from the US, just use venues in Canada & Mexico. I agree with you on Trump! He's vain, despicable & thin skinned. Removing the world cup would have a material impact on him & his regime.
January 29, 2026 at 10:11 AM
I agree with him, but when anyone is siding with Blatter it shows just how desperate the situation is... #fifa made a monsterous error with Infantino, he was meant to be the antidote to the previous corruption, he's way worse. He could redeem himself by sorting the US situation... #boycott
January 28, 2026 at 10:20 PM
Absolute scum. Every utterance coming from different barrel scraping knuckle draggers who represent #reform betrays the nightmare that will envelope this place if they get a hint of power. I can't believe anyone would support them, but they do, so sane people are going to have to fight them...
