Drinking tea and taking over the world...after a nap.
I was planning to get gas and groceries, but decided to take a short detour inbetween to visit a waterfall. Beautiful weather, and I have the waterfall completely to myself. Peaceful.

Today's baking. My daughter made einkorn FMF chocolate chip cookies. I made a white hard wheat sourdough bread with onion & cheese.

All of it is delicious! All made with fresh milled flour.

New baking adventure - burger buns. Hard white + spelt FMF. For a first go, I'm pretty happy with them.

From the kitchen today: balsamic beets, spinach & feta pizza (on an einkorn & white wheat crust), and a loaf of hard white wheat & einkorn honey sandwich bread.

Now, where's that smell-a-vision?

Today's baking adventures. Note: these are 100% fresh milled flour but not sourdough.

One is blueberry muffins made with soft white wheat and spelt. The other is a soft sandwich bread made with hard white wheat and einkorn. Both are recipes from Grains in Small Places.

Now that we are home, and semi-settled, I'm turning my mind and efforts to those things I used to do: gardening, preserving, fermenting, baking, milling, sewing, crafting. It is time to reclaim and renew.

I tried a new recipe and it lived up to its name - a soft SOURdough loaf!
