The NEM last night was 75% fossil fuels, even with >1GW of battery discharge (Dark Blue).
I won't pretend nuclear will solve our problems this side of 2040, but the variability of wind & solar puts our climate goals at risk, especially as demand for electricity rises as we electrify our economy.

"Brisbane City Greens Councillor Trina Massey has opposed the development application."
Why is it that whenever housing is being proposed in QLD the Greens are there to object?
Especially strange given this conflicts with their own planning policy which I got adopted in 2015 when I was a member.

Here I am next to the Labor candidate in 2013. Dutton didn't feel the need to turn up to this candidate forum.
