USAID was originally established to promote goodwill. We’ve gone from “We’re here for you; let’s be friends.” to “Give us what we want or else”. Well, China is stepping in to take over for us in the goodwill department. This bully is going to put the country in an us against the world situation.

I was a federal employee for 26 years. Nothing about this deferred resignation is legal. I’m sure unions have explained this, but if you resign and then find out it was a lie, it’s too late. You’re gone…no severance…no buyout…no payment for all that annual leave you saved. It was voluntary. SOL
