You keep telling me I’m wrong and lazy and unable to understand your point but I’m the one being patronizing? This is just an occam’s razor thing for me. Your take isn’t nuanced, it’s just different. That’s fine. Let’s move on from this conversation and we can agree to disagree.

You’re obviously fired up and I get that but you’re wrong here. The whole ethos of the team is “next player up.” You have two extremely capable subs sitting right there. He’s a great manager but he got this one wrong.

The manager is there specifically to not make that from a human perspective. Players will always try to play, that’s why you have trainers and managers.
